Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. She was born February 9, 1997. Her grandmother had lived in the streets for three years until she reached her age, when she was placed into the care of a family member. The family she adopted is by one Filipino adoptive mom and white American military veteran. She claims she along with her adopted brother as well as their mother were subjected to abuse in their childhoods until they joined the military. After a brief stay at San Francisco, her family relocated to Texas in order to assist her father undergo a bypass procedure. Although the physical violence subsided, she claims to have experienced mental assault from her father at her home. Poarch joined the United States Navy when she turned 18. Poarch began her TikTok account in April of 202020. The account grew quickly to fame, amassing more than 40,000,000 followers within less than eight months. Millie B's video Soph Aspin Send, which is now a big hit for Millie B was her greatest hit. This became one of TikTok's most viewed videos. The video was zoomed-in on her dancing and lip-syncing along to the track became viral. Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter accounts in the months following the joining of TikTok to benefit from her growing fame. The popularity of Poarch grew exponentially in the month of December 2020. Poarch's rising popularity was reported to have drawn two of the top professionals Esports Teams. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves have both expressed interest for her to work as a freelance creator of content to promote their brands.
