American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious rap tracks that tackled sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to increasing her presence in Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants within Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came via the trumpet. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop studies began when she was just a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism, and women's studies in college even learning Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. After graduating, she began to pursue music as her main focus. My Vag, her track My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a huge hit on the Internet and was later featured on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The other viral hit songs included queef track and the eye-catching NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. The song was specifically linked to The Awkwafinas Guide to NYC, her travel guide for 2015. Following a career that was successful as a performer and songwriter, she decided to take on the role of an actor. In addition to early shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies like Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered many major roles like Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her EP "In Fina We Trust".
