Angela Kaufman

Angela Kaufman is an author and speaker. She is a Certified Intuitive Consultant and Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Activist as well as an Astrologer. She has been licensed as a Psychic, Reiki Practitioner and an Ordained Ministry. Her fame was established by her portrait artistry throughout her three-year stay in Italy. In 1765 she was elected to Rome's Accademia of San Luca. This is a testament to her achievements. Angelica Kauffman spent only 15 years living in England but made a significant contribution to the 18th century London art scene becoming one of only two female Founder Members of the Royal Academy. Angelica Kauffman passed away on 5 November 1807 at the age of 66. Liz started ArtLifting in November of 2013 alongside her son Spencer Powers. Kauffman became acquainted with the British Community in Rome when she moved there in the beginning of January 1763. After a few more months, her family relocated to Naples. She continued painting portraits and studied English. Kauffman was a student of Old Masters there and her first work was taken to London for an exhibition in the public domain.
